Jacob R. Hough

Jacob (“Jake”) Hough joined Forensic Resolutions in January 2015.  He began his accounting career as an accounting intern for Enterprise Leasing Company of Philadelphia.  Jake’s work included assisting in reconciling day-to-day operations, overview of branches in the region, handling accounts payable and receivable. Jake also has experience in commercial banking, where he handled client’s everyday financial needs and investigated fraudulent transactions.
Jake graduated from Widener University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Accounting.  His coursework included Auditing, Federal Income Taxes, Corporate Taxation, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis and Fraud Examination.  He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
At Forensic Resolutions, Jake is actively engaged in investigating and analyzing claims related to employee fraud, business interruption, commercial damages, property claims, lost profits/economic damages, personal injury/wrongful death, among others.
Jake is also pursuing the Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) designation.
