Jeff Willoughby has 13 years of public accounting experience providing forensic accounting, tax, audit, consulting and advisory services to small and mid-sized, privately-owned businesses. Prior to joining Forensic Resolutions, Inc., Jeff worked for several small and mid-sized accounting firms in North Carolina and Delaware. In addition to his accounting experience, Jeff’s forensic accounting engagements include damage calculations, fraud investigations, employee theft, vendor fraud and asset misappropriation. Jeff has been accepted and provided testimony as an expert witness.
Jeff’s has provided services to a wide variety of industries including, manufacturing, professional services, financial services, medical, distribution, construction, real estate, retail, dealerships, not-for-profits, and benefit plans.
Jeff received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting as well as a Master of Science in Accounting from Appalachian State University. Jeff is a licensed CPA, as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Jeff is a member of many professional organizations including the Delaware Society of CPAs, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Institute of CPAs. In addition, Jeff has taught for the Institute of Management Accountants on fraud and forensic accounting.
