Douglas Sell has over seven years of financial and forensic and investigative accounting experience. Prior to joining Forensic Resolutions, Inc., Douglas was a consultant at a mid-sized regional accounting firm in Philadelphia, PA, performing forensic and investigative accounting services. At Forensic Resolutions, Inc., Doug has worked on hundreds of personal injury, wrongful death and other matters calculating all aspects of the relevant economic damages. Doug has worked on multiple cases involving subrogation damages including the assessment of lost business income, contents, property loss and extra expense claims. Some of Doug’s largest cases have included working extensively on engagements involving complex leasing claims where he identified critical data components, building of databases for detailed analysis, research, and assistance with other aspects of the cases including document management and damages summary.
Douglas’s case experience also includes bankruptcy engagements, fraud investigations, business interruption losses, commercial damage issues, complex claims analysis, tracing of funds and asset tracing. He has provided services for insurance and financial service companies, law firms and other businesses.
Douglas received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Drexel University.
Douglas is a member and officer of many industry, civic and community organizations including the Rotary Club of Haddonfield (Director of Club Service, Director of Community Service), The Partnership for Haddonfield Professional Services Committee (Board member), United Methodist Men of the First United Methodist Church in Moorestown, NJ (Treasurer, Director) and the Cinnaminson Community Garden Association (Founder).
