Howard Silverstone is a CPA with over 25 years experience in public accounting and forensic accounting. He is also a Chartered Accountant (England and Wales) and has experience on both sides of the Atlantic. Howard is also a certified fraud examiner and has concentrated on forensic accounting since 1985. Howard regularly presents programs to the legal, accounting, and insurance industries on the calculation of damages in financial disputes and corporate fraud.

Howard joined the national accounting firm, Stoy Hayward in London, England in 1981 and moved to their international associate firm, Laventhol & Horwath, in 1985. In 1990, Howard joined a Philadelphia-based forensic accounting firm and in 1993 he became one of the founding members of the Philadelphia office of Lindquist Avey, an international Forensic and Litigation Accounting Firm. He later became a Principal in the firm, and in 1998 Lindquist Avey merged with Kroll Inc., the risk mitigation company. Howard Silverstone has testified at trial and deposition on many occasions, and has worked on matters throughout the United States for national, regional and local law firms, insurance companies and corporations.

Howard Silverstone holds an accounting degree from the City of London Polytechnic (now London Guildhall University). He has been quoted in USA Today and other publications and has written articles for many publications including the Legal Intelligencer (Philadelphia), Security Management magazine and is a published author of one book, with another to be published in the next year.

Howard has experience in matters ranging from due diligence and the calculation of economic damages in business interruption and contract dispute matters to fraud and white-collar crime investigations, fraudulent conveyance and real estate loan investigations. He has also specialized in providing assistance in entertainment industry disputes, such as copyright issues. He has extensive experience in the surety industry, as well as personal injury and wrongful death claims.
